The Influence of Celebrity Culture on Youth Identity: A Qualitative Exploration
Abstract
This qualitative research paper discusses the philosophical and aesthetic dimensions of the notion of beauty through the lens of different philosophical schools and modern thinkers. This study aims to define beauty through different historical lenses, including the philosophies of Plato and Kant and modern theorists, to explore implications for art, culture, and human experience. Through thematic analysis of in-depth interviews with artists, philosophers, and art critics, the research aims to bring to light beauty's subjective and objective aspects, arguing that beauty is inherently relational and contextual. The results indicate that beauty is, at least as a social process, a dynamic and multiform notion mediated by a broad cultural, historical, and situational background. Based on this exploration of aesthetic philosophy not only adds to the academic conversation of beauty but also clarifies its importance in today's transformational artistic susceptibilities.
